Steven Azar, co-owner
Educated as a chemical engineer, Steven’s career have been focused in real estate matters since 2004. Steven has been an active, licensed real estate agent since 2006. His other positions include: being an engineer for redevelopment projects while with CH2M Hill, an Economic Development Senior Planner in Greater Boston, a corporate Development Associate for Wood Partners (developed over 1,000 multi-family units), and then Director of Development for Sebastian Mariscal Studios where he focused on developing complex, energy positive, inclusionary and intergenerational housing projects with elevated design components. This experience serves him well when representing you.
In 2019, Azar transitioned to Provincetown year-round when he acquired what he has now rebranded as the Stowaway Guesthouse, while assisting to setup the Provincetown Brewing Company, and the Stowaway Society, a not-for-profit whose mission is to support Provincetown’s Diverse community and year-round economy by creating housing opportunities and safe spaces for LGBTQAI+ creatives. He sits on the Provincetown Planning Board, and on the Provincetown Performing Arts Foundation Board. In his spare time, he is either at the beach, cycling or in his clay studio as if he is Patrick Swazi in ghost reincarnated.
Erik Borg
Erik is a co-owner of Provincetown Brewing Co. and is deeply immersed in the culture and community of Provincetown. Originally from Minnesota, Erik moved to Massachusetts after college for a job in consulting. He quickly fell in love with the unique culture and beauty of the Outer Cape, and began splitting his time between Provincetown and Boston. After a five year stint in New York City, where he worked as a senior director for a boutique public relations firm, Erik moved back to his beloved Provincetown in 2019 to open Provincetown Brewing Co. He currently sits on the Provincetown Zoning Board of Appeals and Provincetown Visitor Services Board. He is also a regular volunteer (chopping vegetables is his forte) for the Provincetown Soup Kitchen and has written extensively for the Provincetown Banner. When he isn’t working at the brewery, catch him at low tide on the West End flats with his clam rake and basket. Few people understand the town and its people better than this guy.
If you stop by the brewery, the first beer is on him!
